Ruismaker is a unique drumsynth plugin that sets itself apart from others by not using samples, but instead employing authentic analog and FM algorithms to synthesize all sounds in real-time. Its integration with AUv3 (Audio Unit) makes it a convenient tool for music production on iOS, seamlessly integrating with Garageband and other AU hosts. With its support of Multi-Output AUv3 in AUM and ApeMatrix, you can run multiple instances of Ruismaker simultaneously without overloading your CPU.
The plugin offers dozens of unique customizable models and emulates analog components to introduce subtle, natural fluctuations in the sound. It also provides full automation support (requires host support) for its parameters and is controllable via MIDI CC. Additionally, Ruismaker has its own preset manager for easy organization.
The standalone sequencer included with Ruismaker is refreshingly different. You can program patterns using Euclidean algorithms, take advantage of the powerful random feature and mutation probability settings per channel, and sync it with Ableton Link or MIDI Clock. It also allows for exporting WAV and MIDI files. The plugin is compatible with Audiobus 3 (including MIDI IN/OUT mode) and supports CoreMIDI In and Out. Furthermore, it offers AU MIDI output for the on-screen pads.
